Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CampaignOS, LLC (“CampaignOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 1445 Woodmont Ln NW #1774, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CampaignOS website, application, and related services (together, the “Service”). Privacy is not a footnote for us — it is the reason CampaignOS exists. We built a product whose core promise is that your marketing stays your business, and this policy is written to keep that promise enforceable.
1. The short version
- We collect only what we need to run the Service.
- We never sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We never use your content to train AI models, and we contractually pass that requirement to our processors.
- If you choose On-device AI, your drafts are generated on your own computer and never reach our servers.
- You can export or permanently delete your data at any time.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Auth0) shares your name, email address, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive or store your password.
Content you create. Campaigns, posts, briefs, writing samples, check-up answers, competitor notes, and results numbers you type in. This content belongs to you.
Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, billing status, and a Stripe customer reference. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept briefly for security and reliability. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Website check-up URLs. If you use the free check-up, we fetch the public website address you provide in order to score it.
3. How AI processing works — and what leaves your device
CampaignOS offers three AI options, and the privacy consequences of each are stated plainly:
- On-device AI: generation happens on your own computer (e.g., via Ollama). Your prompts and drafts are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Private AI (default): generation runs on infrastructure we control. Your content is processed transiently to produce the output, is not shared with third-party AI vendors, is not retained by the model, and is never used for training.
- Turbo (Pro): generation uses premium third-party models (such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or Google Gemini) through their business APIs, under terms that prohibit those providers from training on your content. Only the text needed to fulfill your request is sent, tied to our platform account — never your identity.
You choose your tier in Settings and can switch at any time.
4. Social posting
If you connect social accounts for one-click auto-posting, the connection is handled by our posting processor (Ayrshare). We store a posting-profile reference; the posts you explicitly send, and nothing else, are transmitted to the networks you choose. We never read your social inbox, followers, or messages. You can disconnect at any time. If you instead configure your own webhook (Zapier, Make), post content is sent to the URL you provide — that endpoint is under your control and your responsibility.
5. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to support requests.
- To protect the Service against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- To send essential service communications (billing, security, material changes). Marketing email, if any, is opt-in and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
We do not: sell personal information; share content with advertisers; use your content to train AI models; or permit our processors to do any of the foregoing.
6. Who we share information with
Only the processors necessary to operate the Service, each bound by contractual data-protection terms: Auth0 (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Microsoft (cloud database hosting), Ayrshare (social posting, only if you connect it), and — solely on the Turbo tier — the AI model providers listed above. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data and you will be notified).
7. Data retention & deletion
Your content is retained while your account is active so the Service can function. You may download a full JSON backup at any time from Settings. To delete your account and all associated content permanently, contact us at the address below; deletion is completed within 30 days, except for minimal billing records we are legally required to keep.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data is encrypted at rest by our cloud provider. Access is restricted by authentication on every request, accounts are isolated from one another, and administrative access is limited to named individuals. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly as required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, or delete your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of selling. To exercise any right, email us — we respond to all verified requests within the legally required period.
10. Cookies & local storage
We use only what the Service needs to work: authentication state (via Auth0) and your preferences (such as your chosen AI tier), stored in your browser's local storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We will never weaken the core commitments in Section 1 retroactively.
